The “Stick” Stratosphere
Block 1) THE CINEMATIC OPENING
EXT. EMERALD NATIONAL - PRACTICE ROUND
ANGLE ON: THE TEE BOX
The GOLFER steps up. He swings.
VARIOUS ANGLES
The ball tracks a clean, precise arc. It lands, rolls, and drops into the cup. A hole-in-one.
SOUND: A SUDDEN, RISING WHINE
The crowd doesn't cheer. They turn in unison, eyes fixed upward.
EXTREME LOW ANGLE: THE TEE BOX
A G700 descends in an aggressive, banking approach. The roar is persistent, the golfer stands motionless, club still raised. He watches the jet continue its banking maneuver toward the private terminal.
The gallery remains frozen, heads tilted back, observing the intrusion. There is no reflexive scramble for devices, no digital capture of the moment—the enforced discipline of the Emerald National is total. The event is happening, but it is not being recorded; it is as if the aircraft has been scrubbed from reality the moment it touched the sky.
As the sound fades, the silence that returns to the Emerald National is heavier than before.
CUT TO BLACK.
